Effol Hoof Ointment BLACK

Effol Hoof Ointment (Black) is a multi-benefit, antibacterial ointment that strengthens the hoof, prevents dryness, disinfects, guards against skin disease, cracks, split heels and other hoof conditions. Ointment with the black lid is designed to enhance black hooves on black legs as it will stain white or light stockings.

The Effol Hoof Ointment is terrific for brittle hooves that are prone to chipping. The thicker Ointment helps protect the hoof in wet environments. It also has a disinfecting ingredient to help keep the hoof healthy. Many of our customers use the ointment version at horse shows instead of a clear polish hoof shine. Effol Hoof Ointment gives a more natural shiny appearance and still repels dust, compared to an oil hoof polish.
