The Click Hock Shield Ultra is a full wrap for your horse’s hocks, providing complete coverage so hock sores have a chance to heal. Hock sores on horses are common and very frustrating for horse owners. Even horses that have plush shavings in a stall can end up with raw, bleeding wounds on their hocks. Hock Shield Ultra covers the front and back of the hock so even if the wrap twists around, the point of hock will still be covered.

Some horses twist hard when they get up off the ground, which can cause a hock sore or aggravate a healing one. The Hock Shield Ultra is designed for these horses and their owners! It can also be useful for extra warmth for a horse with arthritis. The Hock Shield Ultra consists of a tough outer covering with a double layer of fleece inside. Elastic straps provide flexibility. The hock wrap attaches with hook and loop tape so you can adjust the fit. Hock Shield Ultra hock wraps can be worn full time if needed for the horse with chronic hock sores.

To find your horse’s correct size, have the horse stand with its leg straight and hoof flat on the ground. Measure the smallest area just above the hock joint and compare to the size guide. Do not size up! The elastic straps will stretch so it’s better to have a slightly too small fit at first.
